Wires Strand 2 In Car In Glastonbury Crash
Wires fell on a car during a crash in Glastonbury Thursday.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Two people were briefly stranded in a car when wires fell on top of it during a crash in Glastonbury early Thursday morning, police and fire officials said.
The single-car crash took place at 1:37 a.m. on Hebron Avenue.
Police and Glastonbury Fire Department Companies 4 and 3 went to the scene and located one person already out of the car, according to fire officials. Early scanner reports termed it an ejection.

The other two were removed once the power in the downed wires was shut down, officials said.
Life Star helicopter transported one person to an area hospital and two people were transported by ambulance, officials said.
