Wrong-Way Driver With 'Blown Tires' Charged In Glastonbury: Cops

A car was heading the wrong way on a busy Glastonbury road, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury police have made an arrest in a case of a car with "two blown tires" traveling the wrong way on Glastonbury Boulevard, a report indicates.

The incident took place at 9:32 p.m. on Dec. 28 along the 100 block of Glastonbury Boulevard, according to a report.

The vehicle had come to a stop with two flats facing westbound in the eastbound lanes of the road by the time police intercepted it, according to a report.

There is no indication of how the tires became deflated in a report, but police did say the driver, 66-year-old Mary Ann Rozwadowski, of Moodus, was determined to be under the influence at the scene, and was subsequently arrested for drunken driving and traveling the wrong way on a divided highway.

She is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Jan. 13, according to a report.
