11-Acre Mid-Country Greenwich Estate Sells for $9 Million

There were several contenders for top sales on the Greenwich real estate market — a Club Road home in Riverside for $5.9 million, a waterfront condo on Steamboat Road for $4.75 million, and a mid-country manse built on Pecksland Road in 1925 with a 20,000-volume library for $8.85 million.

At the top of the list is a mansion abutting a nature preserve and the Round Hill Club in the Greenwich mid-country. The seven-bedroom, seven-bath Georgian Colonial — with six fireplaces — on Fort Hill Lane was built in 1935 and sits at the end of a tree-lined driveway. The 11.5-acre grounds were designed by Innocenti and Webel, one of the nations oldest and most prominent landscape architecture firms. The home was sold to a limited liability corporation for $9 million.
