Auction Planned For Stunning Greenwich Estate

GREENWICH, CT -- Most recently listed for $21 million, Former Glaceau COO Carol Dollard's Greenwich estate on Taconic Road in the Back Country will be auctioned off on June 17 without a reserve, according to DeCaro Auctions International.

The home was built in 2012, and Dollard and her husband William initially listed it last year, because the couple never was just "not there enough," she told Bloomberg.

By all accounts, the 12-plus acre estate is truly magnificent. Measuring 10,000 square feet, the home has five bedrooms, nine bathrooms (seven full, two half), an indoor riding ring, eight fenced grass paddocks and an eight-stall horse barn.

The estate also features a 1,000-bottle wine cellar and separate staff quarters. Paul Stephen Marchese & Associates designed the home, and Murphy Brothers Contracting built it.

"We have a mix of locals and people from all over the world coming to bid," wrote DeCaro's Ryan Clark in an email to Patch.
