The former NHL player's his wife, Heather, who is from the area, purchased the property in 2012 for $6.2 million while St. Louis was playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team, according to a report on realtor.com.

St. Louis played for the Lighting for over a decade before being traded to the New York Rangers in 2014. He retired from the NHL after the 2014–15 season, and was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2018.
