Former Presidential Budget Director David Stockman Sells His Greenwich Estate
Stockman and his wife Jennifer have sold their 22-acre Conyers Farm property for $13.15 million.

Republican power couple David Stockman and his wife Jennifer Blei Stockman have sold their backcountry Greenwich estate in the gated community of Conyers Farms.
The Stockmans who have long been associated with conservative efforts — he as budget director under President Ronald Reagan, she as leader of the Republican Majority for Choice who’s also served as president of the fabled Guggenheim Museum in New York — sold their nearly 22-acre estate in the Conyers Farm community for $13.15 million.
According to records filed in the Greenwich Tax Assessor’s office, the Stockmans sold the estate built in 1991 on Oct. 29, to an unidentified buyer, represented by Greenwich lawyer Joel Kaye who was listed as the trustee for the property.

The 25-room home boasts seven bedrooms and more than seven baths with several welcoming fireplaces and balconies from which residents can enjoy views of the property. There’s also a pool, tennis court and several fountains — all of which was the backdrop for the wedding of the couple’s daughter Rachel that was featured in Greenwich Magazine’s November issue.
Conyers Farm is a nearly 1,600-acre community of custom-built estates situated on a minimum of 10 acres. It is the brainchild of international polo player and newsprint magnate Peter Brant who lives across the road at White Birch Farm. Conyers Farm, which straddles the North Castle—Armonk, NY border, is home to many celebrities including television’s Judge Judy Sheindlin and actor/director Ron Howard who sold his 32-acre estate for $27.5 million in July. The Greenwich Polo Club, which hosted a benefit polo match with Britain’s Prince Harry in May 2013, also is located there.

Jennifer Blei Stockman also has been involved with Greenwich’s Bruce Museum, loaning several pieces from the couple’s vast contemporary art collection of 20th-century artists such as William DeKooning, Gerard Richter, Sigmar Polke, Anish Kapoor and Louise Bourgeois for several of the museum’s exhibits. The Bruce honored the Stockmans in 2011 with its Icon Award that recognizes local and national arts patrons.
The home was first placed on the market in 2012 with a $19.75 million price tag; then it was relisted by Sotheby’s International in July 2014 with an asking price of $13.4 million, according to Zillow.com. The 2014 tax bill for the property was $124,872.
According to the Stockmans’ new address that’s listed in Greenwich Tax Assessor land records, the couple has downscaled to an almost 5,000-square-foot waterview condo in New York City that was sold for $14.8 million.
