Greenwich Real Estate Guy's Blog: Open House List June 24th and 25th

Dear Patch Readers,

If you have followed the blogs for years you know I mostly feature single family homes, unless something really hits me when I am touring homes. On the Broker Open House Tour I came across 15 Lafayette Court #1E, and toured it. Pictured above is the view (one of many) from the roof top common area. I could not believe how beautiful the views were. From this spot (across from the top of the avenue) there are incredible views of the multiple gorgeous church steeples surrounding the area, as well as the water and islands. It was just breathtaking. I could see coming up here for cocktails or to just escape and read a book. I have not seen a view like this and to think it comes with a one bedroom unit, close to the avenue with parking, made me think it was worth featuring on the blog. The unit is listed as 1,170 s.f. with one bedroom, one full bath, and a half bath.

I am starting to notice a trend of Saturday Open Homes. I do not know if this will stick as if buyers are set in their ways of only going to open homes on Sundays, it will be difficult to garner the foot traffic. However, I feel owners and agents are probably tired of competing with 100 open homes every Sunday. Since, I am noticing this trend, I will start adding Saturday Open homes on this list as well.
