Mario Gabelli Sells His Waterfront Estate for $10.25 Million

From beginner houses to waterfront mansions, homes in Greenwich continue to sell.

And one of those waterfront estates that’s been sold, belonged to Greenwich billionaire Mario Gabelli. Gabelli, founder, chairman and CEO of Gabelli Asset Management Company in Rye, NY, is number ranked number 383 on the Forbes Top 400 list released at the end of September, with a net worth: $1.64 billion.

Gabelli’s bottom line rose a few notches with the sale of his nearly 2.5 acres estate in the private Belle Haven enclave on Oct. 9 for $10.25 million. The 13-room Colonial of more than 5,500 square feet was built in 1958 at 135 Field Point Circle and includes five bedrooms and a pool, according to Greenwich land records.
