Mid-Country Greenwich Estate Sells for $12.875 Million

An eight-acre estate on with a 13,000-plus square foot home built in 1931 is the top sale recorded for the week July 21.

The Georgian style home at 6 Meadowcroft Ln. in the Greenwich mid-country, has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, along with a guest house, staff quarters, a pool and tennis court.

It was last sold in August 2005 for $6.175 million, according to Zillow.com. On July 23 it was sold to a limited liability corporation for $12,875,000, according to Greenwich Tax Assessor records.

According to Trulia.com, the property was assessed at $7,142,520 in 2013, generating a tax bill of $76,282.
