Milbank Court Townhouse Complex Sells Out

In one year, all 17 units of the downtown complex have been sold.

All 17 units of the Milbank Court townhouse development in downtown Greenwich have been sold.

The Greenwich brokerage Houlihan Lawrence announced Monday that the complex located on Milbank Avenue and East Elm Street is now 100% sold.

The sellout illustrates an uptick of buyers seeking an increasingly metropolitan lifestyle in an area traditionally known for large compounds and gated estates, according to the agency. According to Houlihan Lawrence’s latest Quarterly Market Report, median condominium prices surged more than 40% in the second quarter of 2015, with a particular interest in those closest to Greenwich Avenue.

Each residence features a unique private garden and terrace, crafted by award-winning landscape architecture firm Rutherford Associates PC.

Prices of the townhouses started at $1.8 million with real estate taxes ranging from approximately $10,000 to $12,000 per year, and common charges not exceeding $800 per month.
