Nancy Healy Inducted Into Greenwich'S Realtor Hall of Fame

Greenwich, CT real estate community recognizes Nancy Healy for industry contributions.

The Greenwich Association of REALTORS® (GAR) announced that Nancy Healy, a proprietor of Shore and Country Properties, has been honored to become a member of the small group that comprises the Greenwich REALTOR® Hall of Fame.

The REALTOR® Hall of Fame is the highest honor presented to a member for their lifetime service to the real estate, industry and the Greenwich community.

Healy, a member of the National Association of REALTORS, Connecticut Association of REALTORS a Realtor since 1988 has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Greenwich Association of Realtors for several terms. Healy has served as vice president, secretary and has served three separate terms as Board President. She has served on various committees including Professional Standards, Grievance and Education and is a certified REALTOR mediator. She was a past Recipient of Realtor of the Year. She is a past director of the Connecticut Association of Realtors. Healy became a partner in Shore and Country Properties in 1997 and previously was an agent and working manager with Smith Hekker & Collins, now part of Coldwell Banker.

Healy has worked as a volunteer on the board of Greenwich Woman’s Club where she was responsible for helping to form the Greenwich Historic Bus Tours as well as serving on the Executive Board, many different PTA’s positions, President of the Greenwich High School Varsity Hockey Booster Club, organizer and participant of Parent Assistors who assisted parents attending meetings for Individual Education Plans. In addition, she has given her time freely to United Way and many other local charities and causes.

Healy married her high school sweetheart and raised two sons, Andy and Steve. Greenwich was where they would live, as the Healy family are third generation natives. They have two granddaughters.

Healy was presented the REALTOR® Hall of Fame induction by Brad Hvolbeck, a former Director of the Board of GAR and 2004’s REALTOR® of the Year and a Hall of Fame member. Hvolbeck and Healy worked together during their tenures on GAR’s Board of Directors.

Nancy always employs the most ethical and fair-minded business practices and a sense of openness and cooperative spirit in all of her interactions. Nancy’s leadership has contributed to the success of the real estate industry. We owe her an enormous debt of gratitude for all of her contributions to our association and our Town,” stated Joann Erb, president, Greenwich Association of REALTORS®.
