10th Annual Babies Heart Run

Motorcycles will roar through Noank, Mystic, Ledyard and Groton this coming Sunday August 19th as the 10th Annual Babies Heart Run takes place. The Babies Heart Run is a local non profit organization who’s main fundraiser is a motorcycle and family event that happens every third Sunday in August. Their mission is to raise money to provide care packages to families with babies in the NICU or Kids’s in the PICU who DONT otherwise qualify for assistance. The event on Sunday first starts at Fitch High School in Groton to 9 am. Registration for the police ecscorted motorcycle ride begins at 9 am. The cost is $20 per bike and $5 a rider. During this time until the ride takes off at Noon there are vendors, activities for kids, race cars, and live music. All are welcome to attend! For all the details go to www.babiesheartrun.com
