Groton Schools And Children First Groton Seek Early Childhood Program Staff

Seeking Early Childhood Program Staff
for Participation in an Exciting Professional Development Initiative

We are seeking early childhood professionals currently employed within a Groton early childhood school/program to participate in an exciting, local professional development initiative.

Up to 50 individuals will be selected to participate in a three-part professional development series. The series will focus on the implementation of the Cycle of Intentional Teaching using the Connecticut Preschool Curriculum and Assessment Frameworks.

Three, 2.5 hour evening trainings will take place in the spring of 2012. Trainings will be held in Groton at no cost to the participants. In addition, a three-hour onsite coaching visit will be available at no cost to a limited number of participants.

Early childhood professionals employed within a Groton program must apply in order to be considered for participation. To request an application, please contact Lisa Cooney at 860.434.4800, extension 161 or lcooney@learn.k12.ct.us. Completed applications must be received by 12:00pm February 8, 2012.
