City Of Groton Police Respond To Shots Fired Call
Police received a shots fired call Thursday morning.
GROTON, CT — City of Groton police are investigating after a shooting incident Thursday morning. Police responded to a shots fired call on Benham Road near Avery apartments at 11:59 a.m.
Police said a man fired multiple rounds at the victim. No one appears to have been hit and the victim was uninjured.
The shooter fled before police arrived. Police said they have a number of leads in the case.
