City Of Groton Updates Parking Ban
The city has updated the parking ban due to changes in the forecast.

GROTON, CT — Latest projections for this storm have it arriving earlier to, and presenting higher snow totals for, our community. The National Weather Service has us under a Winter Storm Warning and our colder temperatures indicating now a snow event with 7 to 13 inches of snowfall. Winds could gust to 45 MPH leading to blizzard conditions.
We will institute a PARKING BAN AS A RESULT FROM 0900 AM Monday February 1st, 2021 to Tuesday Morning at 0900 AM February 2nd, 2021. Even side of Street for Groton Estates is in effect for this storm.

We are under a Winter Storm Warning, a Coastal Flood Warning and Small Craft Advisory effective Midnight or 0001 hours on 2/1/2021.
A modification to their forecast has possible Blizzard Conditions all day Monday especially along the coast. Please be careful this is an evolving forecast and this storm appears to be impacting our region now more than originally expected.
