Coronavirus Cases Reported At Groton Nursing Home: Report
The first cases of COVID-19 have been reported at a Groton facility.
GROTON, CT — Two staff members and two residents at Fairview Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Care in Groton have tested positive for COVID-19, The Day reported. All reported cases are asymptomatic.
These are the first cases to be reported at the 120-bed nursing home located at 235 Lestertown Road. The home conducts weekly testing of staff and residents.
The two staff members are quarantining at home for two weeks. The two residents have been placed in a dedicated area separate from the rest of the facility, according to The Day.
