Girl Scouts Of Connecticut Hosts Fill The Truck Event

Girl Scouts of Connecticut is hosting a Fill the Truck event from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturday, March 19 at Auto Zone on 720 Long Hill Road in Groton. Girl Scout volunteers and members will be filling a truck with Girl Scout Cookies for Cookies for Heroes, a service project that allows community members to purchase cookies and have them sent to military personnel around the world.

The public will also be able to write notes to the service women and men around the world who will receive cookies through the Cookies for Heroes program.

Last year, Girl Scouts of Connecticut was able to send 100,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to military troops around the world and this year we hope to match that! Please come out to support Girl Scouts and our service women and men.
