Free Estate Planning and Microsoft Excel Classes, Mobile Food Pantry Coming Soon!

Today’s supposed to be partly cloudy in the morning, then clear with a high of 68F and tonight is supposed to be clear with a low of 50F, according to Weather Underground.
Tuesday: The Town Council Committee of the Whole meets at Town Hall Annex at 6 p.m.; Noank Fire District Executive Committee meets at 7 p.m. at the Noank Fire House; Planning Commission meets at Town Hall Annex at 7 p.m.
At 7 p.m., the Groton Public Library will host a panel on estate planning and help identify the various types of estate assets as well as examine the types of ownership and their significance. Estate planning documents such as a Will, a Living Will, Powers of Attorney and Attorney for Health Care will be discussed, including their purpose and their place in estate planning.
Interested in learning how Microsoft Excel can work to your advantage? The Groton Public Library is offering a free class today where you will learn how to create a workbook and insert information into cells, as well as how to use basic formulas. This introduction to Microsoft Excel is designed for students new to Microsoft Excel 2010. The class is at 10:30 a.m., call the Library at 860-441-6750 to register.
Plan to visit the mobile food pantry tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Groton Human Services Building. The mobile food truck provides fresh fruits, vegetables and proteins for free to families in need. Bring your own bags.
