Grab The Kids: Wienermobile & Planters NUTMobile Stop In Groton

Hot Diggity Dog, it's Crunch Time!

GROTON CITY, CT —With over 80 years of history, two American icons will be together at last.

The Planters NUTmobile and the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile have been traveling across Connecticut and have a few more stops to go. Friday, both will be at the Groton Municipal Building, 295 Meridian St. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The stops are part of the NUTmobile and Wienermobile annual tours. They are driven by Peanutters and Hotdoggers, respectively; recent college graduates who, if they cut the mustard, are hired to cruise the peanut parkways for a full year.
