GROTON CITY, CT — Police say that wind gusts from the west of 60 MPH and higher are sending tree limbs flying and the city is seeing sporadic power outages.

But the concern is that "with a wind driven high tide due at 8:44 PM, we also could experience local shoreline flooding," police wrote on Facebook. "Please be aware and be prepared."
