Groton City Police Make Arrest In Benham Road Shooting
Groton City police charged Kendal Fluker, 43, with several felonies in connection with a mid-March shooting incident. No was was injured.

GROTON CITY, CT —A mid-March shooting on Benham Road has led to an arrest, Groton City police said.
The March 18 shooting, where no one was injured and, police said, was an "isolated incident," was investigated by City police and resulted in the arrest of Kendal Fluker, 43, of Benham Road.
Patrol and Detective Divisions of the City of Groton Police Department conducted an "extensive" investigation, according to a news release from Police Chief Michael J. Spellman.

Fluker was charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Assault 1st Degree, Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree, and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree. He was arrested "without incident," police said, and was released on a $500,000 bond. He's due back in court April 14.
