Groton Concerts In The Park 2018 Schedule Announced

GROTON, CT — Groton recently announced the schedule for this year's installment of its annual Concerts in the Park series. All concerts are held Friday's at Washington Park, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Kicking off this year's schedule will be a performance by the band Azalea Drive on Friday, June 15.

Other scheduled acts include:

• June 22 – Rock and Soul Revue
• June 29 – Mass-Conn Fusion
• July 6 – F & Blues Band
• July 13 – The Cartells
• July 20 – Jay Dempsey Band
• July 27 – 9Teen

According to the city website, these concerts offer families a fun, inexpensive evening. The concert site has sufficient room on the basketball court for dancing, and food is available on site.

Groton Utilities and the City of Groton Parks and Recreation Department co-sponsor and co-produce the concerts. For concert information or cancellation notices, call the concert hotline at 860-446-4129.
