Groton Coronavirus Update: Metal Fabrication Company Pitches In
A metal fabrication company is donating metal strips used on face masks.
GROTON, CT — The Hillery Company is donating metal strips made for face masks after a request from Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, according to The Day. The company said it has received more than 1,000 requests for free metal nose strips from around the country.
The company is providing materials for nose strips and labor is provided by volunteers. A GoFundMe page has been started requesting donations to cover the cost of shipping.
