Today's going to be pretty nice although kinda more like fall than summer. The National Weather Services says today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 74 and there's a slight chance of showers tonight and if not, you can expect a low around 66.

Author and professor Glenn Gordinier will present an illustrated talk on Mystic and the War of 1812 at the Groton Public Library from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight.
