Groton Firefighters Battle Fast-Moving Blaze
The fire occurred at 1215 North Road in Center Groton District.
A Shift Engine 61 Acting Engine 63 responded to 1215 North Road in Center Groton District on Thursday, June 2, to a working structure fire.
According to The Day, a trailer at Dolphin Park was completely destroyed.
Poquonnock Bridge Fire Department, Ledyard, Gales Ferry, Old Mystic Fire Departments, along with Groton Ambulance, and Mystic River Ambulance also responded, Submarine Base Firefighters Local F-219 said via Facebook.
