Groton High School Ranks Among Nation's Top 1,000 Schools: U.S. News Ranking
U.S. News released its 'best of' high school list Tuesday, April 19. One Groton school made it into the top 1,000.

GROTON, CT - U.S. News & World Report in a just released report concludes that 25 Connecticut Public High Schools are among the nation’s top 1,000.
Marine Science Magnet High School of Southeastern ranked #27 for best public high schools in Connecticut and #1,094th best nationwide, according to the report.
Marine Science Magnet High School has a 92-percent graduation rate, a student-teacher ratio of 11:1 and a college readiness score of 41.3. There are 253 students at the school and 24 teachers.

Fitch Senior High School ranked #43 for best public high schools in Connecticut and #2,206th nationwide, according to the report. The school has an 85-percent graduation rate, a student-teacher ratio of 12:1 and a college readiness score of 25.3.
