Groton Man Arrested On Drug Charges
A Groton man was charged after police found fentanyl, cocaine, and crack cocaine at his home.
GROTON, CT — A Groton man was arrested on drug charges after police searched his home Friday afternoon, The Day reported. Jose Esquilin, 43, of 238 Branford Ave., was charged with operating a drug factory, sale of illegal drugs, and risk of injury to a child.
Police found more than 40 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of fentanyl, and 7 grams of crack cocaine along with drug paraphernalia, according to The Day. Esquilin was held on $50,000 bail then remanded to the parole department of the Department of Correction for a conviction on a gun charge in 2019.
