Groton Man Charged In Assault Of Woman At Hotel
A Groton man is facing charges that he assaulted a woman at a local hotel.
GROTON, CT — A Groton man is facing charges connected to a Dec. 17 assault of a woman at a local hotel, The Day reported. Randall Holman, 24, of 388 Long Hill Road, was charged with third-degree assault, first-degree unlawful restraint, and second-degree strangulation.
Police responded to a call at the Gold Star Inn & Suites at 605 Gold Star Highway for a woman screaming to "call 911." The woman told police she was in an argument with Holman that became physical when he grabbed her neck and slammed her face into the wall five times, according to The Day.
Holman is free on $50,000 bond.
