Groton Man Charged With Assaulting Woman

A Groton man is accused of a assaulting a woman on Wednesday.

GROTON, CT — A Groton man was charged with assaulting a woman on a residence balcony on Wednesday, The Day reported. Daniel Bowes, 58, of 193 Thames St., was charged with interfering with an officer, disorderly conduct and criminal possession of a firearm.

Police seized a pellet gun belonging to Bowes, who is a convicted felon and not allowed to possess a firearm. He was held on $25,000 bond, according to The Day.
