Groton Police Arrest 2 People in Crack Cocaine Investigation
Approximately $4,700 cash was seized during the investigation.

The Groton City Police Department, with assistance from The Regional Community Enhancement Task Force, made the following arrests within Groton on Friday, May 13.
Anthony Hodges, 21, of 100 Mather Ave., Groton, was charged with the following:
- Sale of Crack Cocaine
- Possession of Marijuana With Intent to sell
- Possession of Marijuana Over 1/2 Ounce
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Folashade Fasida, 19, of 100 Mather Ave., Groton, was charged with the following:
- Possession of Marijuana Over 1/2 ounce
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
"They were each placed under arrest after an investigation into the sale of crack cocaine within the City of Groton was conducted," police said. "Seized during this investigation was approximately $4,700 cash, an amount of crack cocaine, two ounces of marijuana, and drug processing/ packaging material."
The Regional Community Enhancement Task Force is comprised of detectives and officers from southeastern Connecticut, formed to combat the drug/heroin epidemic in the area and to improve the quality of life of citizens have.
