Groton Woman Charged With Shooting Husband
A Groton woman has been charged on allegations that she shot her husband in the leg, according to a report.
GROTON, CT — A woman was charged with shooting her husband in the lower right leg during an argument, according to The New London Day. Heather Dugas, 46, of 76 Eastwood Road, was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and disorderly conduct.
Police received a call at 9:47 p.m. from Dugas, who said she shot her husband in the leg, according to The Day. He was transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.
