Happy Father’s Day From Rachel Barnhill
"He's been by my side through everything, and I feel very lucky to have him."
In celebration of Father's Day on Sunday June 17, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their father and let us deliver it. This is Rachel Barnhill's letter to her dad:
My dad is amazing. He's the first guy I ever loved. He taught me how to be strong. He taught me to stand up for what I believe in. I can't imagine my life without him in it.
He's been by my side through everything, and I feel very lucky to have him. I wouldn't trade him for anyone in the world. He's not only a great dad, but he is a great Papa too. I'm so lucky to have what we have.
I love you more than anything, Dad!
