Hundreds Turn Out For Groton Community Services Fair

About 75 organizations have booths set up in the Groton Senior Center today. Have you stopped in? You still have two hours.

Hundreds of people stopped in the Groton Senior Center today to check out the annual Community Services Fair, where agencies and private companies gather to give information about their services and, in most cases, a few goodies.

Louise Mears, of Groton, just turned 62. She visited the fair this morning for the first time.

"I think it's great," she said. "I've gotten a lot of really good ideas, a lot of good information and (met) a lot of helpful people. And of course, the goodies weren't bad either."
