Labor Day 2018: What's Open, Closed In Groton
Here are the closings to be aware of during the end-of-summer holiday in Groton.

GROTON, CT — Whether you're ready or not, the unofficial end of summer is approaching. The Labor Day holiday weekend might be some consolation for the end of your summer relaxation, but that means some services will be shut down for the long weekend of Sept. 1-3.
Groton government will observe the following holiday schedule:
- Town Offices – Closed.
- Libraries – Closed.
- Liquor and Grocery Stores – all stores will be open; check individually for hours.
- Schools - Closed.
- Transfer Station – Closed on Mondays.
