We asked Patch readers in more than 1,000 communities to tell us what their moms mean to them. Nearly 200 people responded, paying tribute not just to moms but sometimes to grandmas, sisters and daughters who deserve recognition for Mother’s Day 2021.

Holly you have always been my number 1 mom! You were there for me more than any other mother figure has been. I’ve love you more than you ever gave me credit for, and I will always be here for you. You laid next to me on the floor during a rough pregnancy when I was depressed. You took care of my precious newborn like no other. My mom, and the best in world. Love always Tara
