Medical Marijuana Dispensary Opens In Groton

GROTON, CT — Herbology, a medical marijuana dispensary, has opened a Groton location at 79 Gold Star Highway.

Herbology posted on its Facebook page: "Our newest location in Groton is now open! With rushing rivers, abundant fishing spots, beautiful scenery, and access to nature’s favorite flower, it’s safe to say Groton loves being close to water. We’re fans of the big blue too, but we still #DreaminGreen

On its website, Herbology wrote: "Our Groton provisioning center is conveniently located and here for your medical cannabis needs and questions. From flowers to tinctures to concentrates, we carry a wide selection of nationally recognized brands and our dedicated staff are happy to help you choose the right product based on your experience level and lifestyle."

Herbology is the second marijuana dispensary to open in New London County, according to The Day.

Herbology released the following statement following the store's opening:

Grassroots Cannabis will open a 5,047 square foot Herbology dispensary located at 79 Gold Star Highway, Groton, CT 06340 on July 23, 2020. Grassroots Cannabis, one of the largest multi-state operators in the nation, grows, processes and sells cannabis through its integrated business model. A ribbon cutting ceremony in partnership with the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on opening day.
