Meet The New Traffic Unit Coordinator For Groton Town Police
You might see 10-year police veteran officer Kim Snyder out in the community putting up speed study equipment on the side of the road.

GROTON, CT — Groton Town Police has a new Traffic Unit Coordinator, longtime officer Kim Snyder.
Snyder is a 10-year veteran of the Groton Police Department recently assigned to the Traffic Division in October of 2019.
As a kick off to her assignment, Officer Snyder has been conducting various administrative duties to make sure that the Traffic Unit can better assist the public. You might see Officer Snyder on traffic stops, putting up speed study equipment on the side of the road, at the Town Traffic Authority Meetings, assisting contractors with construction traffic safety, and other traffic related duties including educating the public on common traffic hazards.
