New York Man Arrested In Groton: Police
City of Groton police said they arrested a man wanted on charges in New York state.
GROTON, CT — A Brooklyn man wanted on a violent felony warrant in connection with a crime in New York state was arrested by City of Groton police. Naquan Boone, 34, was held on $500,000 bond.
Boone is accused of second-degree assault, according to a police statement. Police said they were contacted Thursday morning by the FBI's Safe Streets Task Force regarding Boone, who was listed as a fugitive.
Police found Boone at an address in Groton and he was taken into custody without incident. He will appear in New London Superior Court Friday before his rendition to New York.
