Ida May (Ravenelle) Allyn, 79, a lifelong resident of Mystic and beloved wife of 61 years to Walter L. Allyn, died March 9 at home.

Martin J. Purcell, 55, of Mystic, died unexpectedly on March 12 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.

Sharon Margaret Shumski, 69, of Colchester and who has a sibling in Groton Long Point, died on March 11, at Middlesex Hospital Hospice after an extended illness.
