Michael Anthony Miraglia Jr., formerly of Preston and recently of Roxwall, Texas, died March 22. Michael was a service representative for over 30 years, working with friends and employees of AVCRAD in Groton, United Nuclear in Uncasville, and Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford.

Eleanor H. (Bell) Neto, 74, of South Road in Groton, formerly of Colonel Ledyard Highway in Ledyard, died March 24 at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London.

Bernice Silverman, 83, of 6 Littlefield Lane, Old Lyme, died March 25 at Gladeview in Old Saybrook.

Darrell Thomas, Jr., who served in the U.S. Navy and was a lifetime member of the Groton Elks Club, died March 24, due to complications with his heart.
