Police Seize Heroin, Cash, Liquid Methadone After Stonington Arrest
The Regional Community Enhancement Task Force and Groton Police assisted in the arrest of a 27-year-old man on heroin charges.
The Stonington, Norwich, and Willimantic Police Departments, with assistance from the Regional Community Enhancement Task Force, arrested Justin A. Graham, 27, of 118 South St., Willimantic, with the following:
- Possession of Heroin
- Possession of Heroin With Intent to Sell
The task force is comprised of detectives and officers from southeastern Connecticut, formed to combat the heroin/ drug epidemic in the area and improve the quality of life for citizens.
Graham was placed under arrest in Stonington after an investigation into the sale of heroin was conducted. He allegedly had heroin on him and was transferred to Norwich Police Department, where he was processed on an arrest warrant the task force secured for the alleged sale of heroin.
"The investigation then led back to Graham’s residence in Willimantic, CT, where heroin, cash, and liquid methadone were seized," the Town of Groton Police Department said via Facebook. "Seizure totals during the entire investigation totaled approximately 25 grams of heroin packaged for sale, $1,800 cash, liquid methadone, a Mitsubishi Sedan, and a cellular phone."
