GROTON, CT — Jersey Mike's Subs opened Wednesday at 258 Route 12 in Groton, next to a Chipotle that will also be opening soon, according to The Day. Mitchell Thompson, who along with his wife owns the store, said that the Groton location will be his eighth in Connecticut.
Currently there are 18 Jersey Mike's locations in Connecticut and 36 in New England. Mitchell told The Day he plans for Jersey Mike's to be involved in the community with fundraisers to support military families.
The restaurant opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m. daily, according to its website.
