Pride Month Ceremony At Groton Municipal Building
In the proclamation the Mayor urged all residents to actively promote the principals of equality and liberty for all.

This afternoon during the City’s Pride Month Celebration Ceremony in front of the Municipal Building Mayor Keith Hedrick issued a proclamation recognizing the month of June as “Pride Month” in the City of Groton. The Ceremony was attended by many students from both Groton Fitch Middle School and Senior High School.

In the proclamation the Mayor urged all residents to actively promote the principals of equality and liberty for all.
The ceremony was ushered in by the raising of the Pride Flag in front of the City of Groton Municipal Building. The flag raising was followed by speeches by several people including students from Groton schools, concluding with the Mayor’s proclamation.
