Hamden Opens New Apartment Complex

HAMDEN--Officials opened Hamden's new apartment complex with a ribbon cutting ceremony last week at the Putnam Avenue complex.

The former site of an old firearms dumping area is now home to 41 new deed-restricted affordable housing units, The New Haven Register reports.

The addition of the housing units has allowed Hamden to meet affordable housing requirements, The New Haven Register reports.

Major site cleanup occurred before the property was developed.
