Home Sales Down But Prices Up In Greater Hartford

Some mixed news for the area real estate market.

HARTFORD, CT — Home sales in the Greater Hartford area sank by about 17 percent in November, according to The Hartford Business Journal.

However, home prices rose nearly 5 percent. The median price of a home increased in the last year from $235,000 to $247,000.

The single-family home market has weakened but that has been offset by growth in the condo market.
