3 Charged With Fentanyl Possession In Ledyard: Police

Three people were charged in a drugs case, one of whom was also charged in connection to a residential burglary.

LEDYARD, CT — Police said they recently arrested three people on drug-related charges. Ledyard police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Route 12 in the area of Chapman Lane.

The vehicle was suspected to be connected with a residential burglary in Ledyard.

Each of three people in the car was found to be in possession of fentanyl and needles, according to police.

Ashli Elliott, 32, of New London, was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held on $1,000 cash bond.

Zachary Waryck, 30, of New London, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to keep prescriptions in original container. Warcyk was also arrested for burglary. He was held on $5,000 cash bond.

Shane Clemons, 36, of Montville, was charged with operating with a suspended license, possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on $1,000 non-surety bond.
