Celebrate Valentine's Day At Foxwoods With Dining Specials

Fall head over heels with the romantic and delicious specials at Foxwoods' award-winning restaurants this Valentine's Day.

MASHANTUCKET, CT – Foxwoods Resort Casino is inviting sweethearts to celebrate the most romantic night of the year with indulgent Valentine’s Day dining specials. According to a press release, Foxwoods’ award-winning restaurants are offering charming specials that are guaranteed to help guests of all tastes and budgets set the perfect romantic mood.

Caputo Trattoria

Lovebirds will enjoy traditional Italian fare at Caputo Trattoria, with Valentine’s Day appetizer specials that include a tri-colored salad with arugula, endive, radicchio, goat cheese, pine nuts, pears, crispy pancetta, and roasted apple dressing as well as baked Mystic oysters highlighted by spinach and oven-roasted tomato, béchamel sauce and an herb crumb gratin. The main entrees include braised veal Osso Bucco served with mushroom risotto for meat lovers, while seafood lovers will enjoy the baked spinach and lobster manicotti stuffed with herbed ricotta and topped with sherry cream. Additionally, what’s Valentine’s Day without some decadent desserts? Guests will have the option to try the chocolate budino with chocolate mousse, vanilla crema, and dark cherries or the Limoncello Flute with house-made vanilla gelato, house-made Limoncello, and candied orange—or both.


Cedars Steakhouse & Oyster Bar

Foxwoods’ signature steakhouse is preparing a variety of Valentine’s Day specials, including a scrumptious bacon wrapped sea scallop starter with a sweet balsamic reduction, arugula, and heirloom tomatoes. The entrée special boasts filet medallions with Maine lobster claws served with garlic herb mashed red potatoes, grilled asparagus, and Béarnaise sauce or Chilean sea bass accompanied by roasted garlic risotto, spinach, and a citrus champagne beurre blanc. Sweethearts over 21 can also enjoy a festive raspberry sorbet champagne float with their meal. Made with Nicolas Feuillatte rosé, Grey Goose vodka and raspberry sorbet, this specialty cocktail will also be served at Foxwoods’ Royal Rosé event on Feb. 17.

David Burke Prime Steakhouse

Diners will be delighted by the classic and creative preparations at David Burke Prime Steakhouse this Valentine’s Day. Appetizer specials include an oyster shooter duo comprised of a smoked Nantucket scallop and Kumomoto oyster, as well as a tasting of sashimi including grade A5 Wagyu sirloin, Toro tuna, foie gras, hoisin, ponzu, and grapes. For their entrée, guests can choose from surf and turf featuring grade A-5 Wagyu sirloin, Alaskan red king crab and truffle potato cake or sesame seed-crusted tuna steak with daikon, fennel slaw, and wasabi aioli. For dessert, you won’t want to miss the molten chocolate cake with dark chocolate truffle and espresso gelato.


Golden Dragon

Love is in the air at Golden Dragon with their three-course preset menu for two. The delicious specials include a seafood spinach soup with diced shrimp, scallop, cuttlefish and spinach to start. For the entrée, guests can enjoy the fortune shrimp comprised of giant sea shrimp, golden mushrooms, garlic, cilantro, scallions, and the yummy house soy sauce. Finally, guests can complete their meal with longevity noodles, which includes braised e-fu noodles, dried scallops, crabmeat and snow peas.

Veranda Café

This Valentine’s Day, take your sweetheart to Foxwoods staple Veranda Café for the perfect romantic date night. The prime rib special for two– comprised of a 12-oz. prime rib with creamy mashed potatoes, green beans and horseradish cream – is the perfect way to celebrate your love.


VUE 24

Located atop the 24th floor of Grand Pequot Tower, VUE 24 offers unbeatable views and one of the most romantic dining experiences in Connecticut. Valentine’s Day specials include a field greens salad with crispy Vermont goat cheese and toasted walnuts, topped with a strawberry champagne vinaigrette. For your main dish, guests can indulge in the roasted A5 Wagyu filet mignon accompanied by a poached Stonington lobster, grilled asparagus, truffle scented pomme purée, and pinot rouge. The signature cocktail for the Royal Rosé event taking place on February 17, the raspberry sorbet champagne float, will also be available to diners at VUE 24 on Valentine’s Day.
