Explosives Training Held at Former Norwich State Hospital Property
Ledyard's mayor said the Wednesday, May 18, blasting was a part of a class.
The Ledyard Police Department shared the following message from Ledyard Mayor Michael T Finkelstein, regarding explosives training that took place Wednesday, May 18, at the former Norwich State Hospital property:
"Early this afternoon, you may hear explosions occurring. There is no need to be alarmed, as this is the yearly 'Post Bomb Blast Investigation' class being held in Preston by the FBI, CSP, and multiple other agencies."
