Former UConn Quarterback to Lead Ledyard High School Football Team
He graduated from UConn in 2008 and is a former Gatorade Player of the Year in Connecticut.

LEDYARD, CT - A former University of Connecticut quarterback has been named the new football coach at Ledyard High School, according to The Day.
Jonathan “D.J.” Hernandez will succeed Mark Farnsworth in coaching the Colonels, The Day reported. He graduated from UConn in 2008 and is a former Gatorade Player of the Year in Connecticut.
Hernandez has been the head coach both at Southington and of the Carinthian Black Lions in Austria, according to The Day. He has also worked at Brown University, the University of Miami and the University of Iowa in various positions.
