Foxwoods Announces October 2018 Entertainment Slate

Indie rock superstars and comedy kings headline Foxwoods this fall.

MASHANTUCKET, CT – This October, Foxwoods Resort Casino has a few tricks up its sleeve to treat guests to an exciting fall lineup. Join indie rock group Modest Mouse for an unforgettable performance jam-packed with fan favorites and new hits, or prepare for endless laughs with television comedy stars Impractical Jokers Starring The Tenderloins.

For some spooky Halloween fun, dress to impress for the hottest Las Vegas-style nightclub party at SHRINE featuring celebrity guest Rick Ross.

According to a news release, tickets for all shows may be purchased online at foxwoods.com, or by calling the Foxwoods Box Office at 800-200-2882 or Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. Tickets are also available on-site at any Foxwoods Box Office.

WHEN: Oct. 2, 9 p.m.

WHERE: SHRINE

  • Canadian production and DJ duo Loud Luxury gained widespread recognition in 2017 with their remixed version of Martin Garrix’s song, “Scared to Be Lonely.” Their original single, “Body” featuring vocalist Brando debuted on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart at number 49 and has since gained over 40 million streams. Tickets are $15.


Freestyle Extravaganza 2018

WHEN: Oct. 5, 8 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

  • Hosted by Sal Abbatiello and Speedy with music by DJ Lucho and WhiteBoy DJ KYS, this year’s Freestyle Extravaganza is back and better than ever. Pioneers of the freestyle movement are set to dominate the stage, including artists like Lisa Lisa, TKA/K7, The Cover Girls and George Lamond. Tickets are $58, $78 and $158.


Lion Fight 47

WHEN: Oct. 6, 6 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

  • Lion Fight Promotions, a leader in Muay Thai Combat, presents another stellar lineup of world title fighting with Lion Fight 47. In the main event, undefeated reigning Lion Fight World Cruiserweight Champion and Plymouth, MA native Chip "The Surgeon" Moraza-Pollard puts his belt on the line against French invader Remy "Robocop" Vectol. Tickets are $55 and $95.


Modest Mouse

WHEN: Oct. 6, 8 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

  • Since its inception in 1993 in Issaquah, Washington, Modest Mouse has become the indie rock gold standard: one of the few bands capable of achieving massive popularity without sacrificing their longtime fans. Fans can expect to hear popular hits like “Float On,” “Dashboard” and “Lampshades on Fire.” Tickets are $45, $60 and $70.


TriAngels

WHEN: Oct. 9, 9 p.m.

WHERE: SHRINE

  • The hottest DJ trio on the scene, TriAngels is prepped to light up the night with an explosive set featuring today’s popular dance hits. The ladies’ infectious stage presence and hypnotic beats are sure to keep the party going on the dance floor. This is a free event.


Stafford Brothers

WHEN: Oct. 13, 9 p.m.

WHERE: SHRINE

  • Stafford Brothers are the hottest Australian DJ and production team to hit the American electronic party scene in recent years. Since relocating to Los Angeles from the land down under, brothers Matt and Chris have collaborated with industry heavyweights like Christina Milian and Rick Ross, have sold millions of records and earned residences in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and more. Tickets are $30.


Borgeous

WHEN: Oct. 16, 9 p.m.

WHERE: SHRINE

  • John Borger, better known by his stage name Borgeous, is an American DJ and music producer who shot to international fame thanks to the release of “Tsunami” with Canadian EDM duo DVBBS. His continued success is marked by collaborations with celebrities including British rapper Tinie Tempah, recording artist Julia Michaels and renowned DJ Shaun Frank. Tickets are $15.


Sofi Tukker: Treehouse World Tour Part Three

WHEN: Oct. 18, 8 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

  • Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern—the duo better known as SOFI TUKKER – encapsulate the sound of wildness in their new album, Treehouse. The band was catapulted into the spotlight by the success of their first single, “Drinkee” which, after being featured in an ad for the Apple Watch, quickly went on to rack up over 45 million Spotify streams and a coveted GRAMMY nomination. Tickets are $35, $40 and $45.


Impractical Jokers Starring The Tenderloins

WHEN: Oct. 19, 7 p.m. and 9:55 p.m. and Oct. 20, 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

  • Television comedy stars and lifelong troublemaking friends Joe, Murray, Quinn and Sal – otherwise known as the Impractical Jokers – take their stunts and dares to outrageous levels with over-the-top hijinks. Now, the group is bringing their hilarious “Cranjis McBasketball World Comedy Tour” to Foxwoods for an unforgettable evening of laughs. Tickets are $58, $70.75 and $80.75.


Live Championship Boxing

WHEN: Oct. 20, 6 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

  • CES Boxing presents live championship boxing featuring today’s stars and tomorrow’s headliners. The highly anticipated matches include New Haven’s Edwin Soto going toe-to-toe with Niagara Falls veteran Anthony Lenk, and Ledyard, Connecticut’s own Marcia Agripino battling Stephanie Essensa in the ultimate female bantamweight showdown. Tickets are $37, $47, $77 and $157.


NERVO

WHEN: Oct. 23, 9 p.m.

  • Eccentric Australian DJ duo NERVO, comprised of twin sisters Mim and Liv Nervo, have climbed their way to the forefront of the EDM scene from superfans to superstars. The Price Is Right Live!

Rick Ross: Halloween Night

  • Forget trick-or-treating – special celebrity guest Rick Ross is hosting Halloween Night at Connecticut's hottest nightclub! The American rap legend is taking over SHRINE and is ready to keep the dancefloor raging all night long. Tickets starting at $20.
